Speaking for myself, no, I think we really need MAPROOM, and it was
certainly one of the qualifiers Rotch testers agreed heartily on
needing. We do have a maproom here where almost all of our loose maps
are kept in flat files. If you go back to the holdings table conversion
grid, you see that in Rotch we chose MAPROOM as a collection to
identify these items. See pages 7 and 9. Many maps are involved and
maps of given places is a frequent reference request here.
We *aren't* using MAP in the holdings conversion anywhere, and will,
therefore, have to rely soley on modifying searches without the MAPROOM
qualifier. However, I am open to hearing otherwise from other Rotch
testers. Fire away you guys if I am wrong.
