recall seeing it asseverated for the Issues: compile. Please ignore if
this is a repeat.]
OCLC numbers that have brought the ocl7 prefix with them in the
migration are not retrievable with the OCLC # (o=) search. This is not
only a problem with searching but may adversely affect the matching
process if those records are brought in again from OCLC (we can test
this.)
The OCLC numbers being migrated from the GLIS 001 field, whether
with ocm- or ocl7- prefix, should be normalized and integrated in a
single file, from which they are retrievable with the o= search.
