Here we are. The Last Weekend of Normal Geac Operations. Sigh...
Here's the schedule of events:
Fri. 5PM -- MRMS goes down one final time.
Overnight we run the Reserve Uses Reports.
Sat. 8AM -- Acq. up early today for final Receipts.
Circulation up normal times.
Overnight, we weed Reserves and purge Patrons, both with
expiry dates of May 31. We also do the final Acquisitions
overnight.
Sun. AM Circulation comes up at its normal time for the last time.
We start running the Acquisitions year end processing.
Sun. 7:45 Circulation comes down for the last time. We purge the
fines from Circulation overnight.
Mon. AM We run the last Circ. overnight, finish the Acquisitions
Year-End processing, finish any other processing we need
to do to prepare the final data for Geac, and then backup
the data for Geac.
Tuesday AM Start use of Soft Backup for Circulation. CD-Barton circ
status updates continue.
