I've asked Ellen if she could give us a demo of the serials receipt
process. I thought a demo would help us get a grasp of what is
involved in the monograph serials receipt process, specifically, what
the process might be for getting the LCN and cataloging instructions
to the catalogers. Ellen is available 1:30-2 during the regularly
scheduled Advance training open house in the Libraries' training room.
All who are on this list should come if you can. Sorry this is last
minute, but, when time and opportunity so neatly converged, I thought
I'd take a chance that the majority of you could make it. Thanks.
Ad-cat will convene its weekly meeting in the usual place at the usual
time following Ellen's session.
