I understand from Dan Miller that Blackwell/NA is currently working
on an authorities project for Novanet, a consortium of academic libraries in
Nova Scotia that has a Geac Advance database of 910,000 bibliographic
records. B/NA is working only with Novanet's bibliographic file.
I thought there might be some issues from this project that might
pertain to MIT. Do you know anything about what Novanet is doing?
Dan Miller mentioned that Scott Nickerson and Peter Glenister are
the Novanet staff most directly involved with this project.
