Hi

I am sorry to say that Linda and I discovered this when we were
teaching our, wonderfully lively, never to be repeated first Opac
Training. I will also say that we never even thought it was a bug
so never bothered to tell anyone about the fact that the ALL was not
an option ( and so made life very confusing) at this point. ( Nina,
dosen't clunkyness count as a bug. Maybe this is one of those things
we should keep in mind to tell them about for the next time)

However, I think that I have found a bug, or at least a glitch, but I
don't want to fire off a bug report until I have many second opinions.

Try this:

Do a key word search in any field but the W= . When you get your
HEADING SUMMARY screen look at the options below. One of them is
SORT.
If yo0u select this sort option, depending on the number of records you
have, it will look as though it is doing something, but I cannot
imagine what. The list you get is EXACTLY the same as before and then
the SORT option goes away from the bottom of the screen.

Now if you do a W= search, you get put into a TITLE SUMMARY screen
and you have (as you should) the option to SORT. When you do select
SORT you are given your options and once the sort is completed and
you are given your list, the SORT option remains (it should, because
you may re-sort).

So this W= works as you would expect it to, but the
other keyword HEADING SUMMARY screen is giving us an improper option.

Let me know what you all think

Suzanne
