Today in training, I set up the new library, MONO, with associated
SHIP TO and BILL TO codes and had my section set their user defaults
to this new library. All went well until we went to do ordering; the
accounts are tied to a library code, i.e. MIT, so we couldn't use
without changing the library back to MIT.
I called Donna about this; the system won't let her change the
library code on any of the old funds, including the ones she put in
for training . As Donna's prior email stated:
"Please note that the Library Code cannot be changed on any Fund
once activity has taken place within that Fund, i.e. orders encumbered
or spent. etc.
The Fund mapping procedure, also, only works within the same Library.
This may be a problem during the GMA 2, if the GLIS MIT Library accounts
cannot be pulled into the MONO Library.
We may not be able to change the Monograph Library Code to MONO."
