Greetings. I have booked the training room in Hayden Basement for an
initial circ functions training session, for Thursday, March 2, 10-12.
The session will be run by Michael Finigan, Scott Britton, and myself.
We're all still learning the system ourselves, but we hope to have
enough of a grasp by then to begin training others.
Those of you in the Circ implementation group who were not involved in
the Geac-provided training a few weeks ago (Keefe, Kim, Larson,
Baltimore, G. Eastman) are invited to attend, if you are free at that
time. Also invited are Stephen Skuce and Ann Whiteside, who have
expressed an interest in circ training during this "second wave".
Also, those members of our group who DID attend the Geac sessions are
invited to come, if desired, to listen in or whatever.
This may sound like a lot of people, but experience dictates that due
to schedule conflicts, some people won't be able to make it. Of
course, there will be other training sessions. I'll let people know
when they are as soon as I've booked the room.
I would appreciate it if you would RSVP to me, if you plan to
attend. At the least this will insure that we don't hold a training
session with no attendees! Thanks. -AP
