In a recent conversation, Grant and I were reviewing some of the successes
leading to the implementation of the Geac 8000 system, and we realized that a
critical piece of functionality has been entirely neglected in planning for
Advance. Seeking to remedy this omission, we'd like to invite you to join us
for
THE RETURN OF THE MARGARITA TASK FORCE!!!!!!
The original charge of the first incarnation of this important group was
to sample the margaritas in as many Boston/Cambridge watering holes as
possible. In this day and age of distributed resources, however, we
should probably broaden the mission of the group to include beer, wine,
seltzer, etc.etc. The essential point here is to give ourselves a little
breather. (And a bit of liquid refreshment never hurts.)
For the first meeting of the group, we thought we'd start out close to home, so
how about assembling at the Sail Loft next Wednesday, March 29, right after
work? Friends, colleagues, and significant others are always welcomed to
attend; please feel free to forward this message to any and all convivial
parties.
Also, please remember that the legal drinking age in Massachusetts is 21.
Questions, suggestions, comments, etc. should be directed to me, ninadm,
not Grant. He's busy doing the *real* work.
See you next week!
