Here is a breakdown, by type of search, of what MARC fields (from the
bibliographic records) are indexed in searches of the catalog in Advance.
I compiled this list from the B.Index (the Geac program that controls
bibliographic indexing) and the OPAC search indexes (as defined in the
OSI section of the Online Search Setup menu). Not included are
searches in the Authority file or Reserves. This document will be
updated as changes are made. Please contact me if you have questions
