Maybe nowadays it’s rather redundant. But back about 18 years ago, I was
part of a team that hacked VBA macros to break monolithic word docs into
different product docs. It was a fun enough project that I wrote about it
as a project for my college certificate, “Single-sourcing for cash-strapped
enterprises.”
