This is indoor and depends heavily on the structure of the building. If
you have a large indoor room, you can allmost use the outdoor distances
(ranging from 100m to 200m).

We use Lucent stuff. They have basestations where you can insert normal
wireless cards.

I have seen it work up to about a hundred meters. There where a few
large trees that blocked the signal.

In Europe maximum output is 100mW.
