First: IANAL. I do, however, have some familiarity with trademark topics
from my previous life in advertising and marketing.

If you are not suggesting in any way that your institution or services are
affiliated with any of the brands whose marks you display, and the marks
are displayed for informational purposes or as part of an explanation, you
are not in violation of any laws that I know of (see disclaimer above). You
definitely should, however, include a note to the effect that 'Apple and
the Apple device are registered trademarks of Apple Computer, Inc.;
Coca-Cola and the dynamic stripe device are registered trademarks of
Coca-Cola Products, Inc.; RoadKill and the sailcat device are registered
trademarks of RoadKill Inc.' and the like. I'd be real surprised if you
were actually prosecuted for failing to do so--you probably would get what
the lawyers call a 'scary letter' if one of the corporations noticed--but
it's a good idea to get in compliance just the same.
