Rick, you wouldn't happen to use Enterasys Roamabout (either the Access
Point 2000, or the R2's)?
It's a limitation of the Access point, not the software.
For the most part, there is no standards based authentication for wireless
yet. (I'm almost 100% certain 802.1x isn't ratified yet)
Back to the topic, I believe IAS can be setup this way, but I have not
experimented with it.
Speaking with Funk Software, they are of the opinion it's fine for small
amounts of traffic (under 100-200 clients) but anything larger you would
need a more specialized RADIUS Server

It was really simple for me to set up. I was going to use it for
authentication for our wireless access points, but the "Account" that the
points wanted to authenticae was the ethernet address of the nic that was
on the machine, and that wasn't what we were looking for...
