Novell also has a portal solution that integrates with many e-mail systems
such as Lotus Notes, Exchange, Groupwise, etc.
Using XML and JAVA you can create your own gadgets for customized news
tickers, etc. With NetWare 6, everything is accessible via the web now
(only admins need Client32). You can login to Novell through the portal
in your web browser, get your drive mappings, etc. You can even install
IPP printer drivers by looking at a map of campus and clicking on a
printer you wish to install. You can also map drive letters to FTP
folders. Obviously, if you don't have a Novell network in place, this
will probably be too much to do at once.
