Personally I've always found white text on a blue background pleasing, but I
don't know of any "Good" combos.

This is off-topic, but my lovely colleague Ethan and I were wondering
whether there is any ergonomically recommended background and text
color combination for monitors? Is the default black text on white
background the most suitable for reading through text for hours, or
is there a preferred alternative?
