Anthony,
At UNH, as long as you are a registered student, you are entitled to use of
the software.
If a student lives off campus they would be blocked from logging into virus
registration page. However, they can take their student ID into Walk In
Services, fill out an online registration, and then check out an install cd.
Once installed, they can run the updates from anywhere.
I don't know of any predefined expiration date on this install, so in theory
they could continue to run the updates as long as they wish. (Don't quote
me on that)

I've noticed that everyone seems to have a site license for the virus
protection, which we too have, but my question is what happens when the
student goes home for the summer? Since they are no long present they would
not be covered by the site license. Do you also require the students to
uninstall the product at the end of the school year? I'm just curious
