Currently on our campus we have three Deskpros that will not communicate
with our 3com network. We get a link light at both ends of the wire and
have tested the wire and everything checks out fine. The deskpros are
trying to connect to a 3com hub 40 or a 1100 switch. The nic has been hard
coded to 10 half to communicated with the hub, and both 10 half/full for the
switch. The nic does not register its mac address on the switch, even
though a link light appears at both ends. Has anyone out there has had
issues with the same machines or have any other suggestions?
