Hi Phil,
We are struggling with this on a campus wide basis. The wireless
consultants we had come in last fall suggested metal enclosures and
external antennas. Well, 802.11a low band 5 Ghz prohibits external
antennas (connectors), so much for that professional advice...
We are sourcing plastic/fiberglass enclosures but would be interested in
any interaction with others in the same situation. One idea was to use
domes used for security cameras but people might object...
