Hello,

Here's an interesting link from the CNN website regarding some serious
problems with Windows XP network security resulting from buffer overflows
and problems associated with universal plug and play. This problem is
serious enough that attacks against corporate, government, private, and
public institutions could occur from any computer running Windows XP that
has an active internet connection. I'd advise everyone running Windows XP
on any system to download the security patch mentioned in this article and
inform both your friends and colleagues of the need for this critical
update as well.

http://www.cnn.com/2001/TECH/ptech/12/20/microsoft.hackers.ap/index.html

The patch can be obtained by going to the following website:

http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/

Have a good holiday,

Jim
