We're looking into replacing the Network Management software that we use to
monitor and control our Routers and switches. We currently use Aprisma's
(aka Enterasys, aka Cabletron) Spectrum 6.0 product. It's a never ending
battle to model devices, and even some of the Cabletron devices don't model
correctly.
What would other people recommend looking at?
Obviously we will look at HP Open view, just because of name recognition.
Our Cisco rep has suggested that we look at CiscoWorks2000.
