Jo,

We just rolled out SUN I-planet messaging server.  The product has the
ability to break the message into its components.  We then can send any
attachments to our virus scanner (Sophos Anti virus).  The result is
either to pass a non infected message, or to strip the infected
attachment and replace it with a text message informing the recipient of
the infected file.

We catch 100-200 viruses per day (with more when a new virus hits).  It
really has helped our help desk.
