Hi,
We use a COBOL based custom software developed by one of our
computing center programmers 4 years ago. Far from perfect, but it
meets our basic needs and has a couple features such as room lookup
by phone number that makes up for things like appointment times
needing to be in military/2400 format. The programmer has since left
and changes are more expensive because it takes longer for someone
else to decipher what everything does. Not willing to pay tons for a
fancy commercial package and don't want to learn something new when
what we have works. Good luck,
