We have been successful in using ImageCast ( StorageSoft product like
Ghost) for unicast of Win XP-pro images. We are planning on using the
Multicast feature in our labs but at present we are having some problems
with our switches not playing nice with IGMP.

In regards to your question as to why the rush to XP. Here at Rider we
get
new Dell computers for 1/3 of labs every summer. Dell will be selling
the
new computers with XP this summer when we are due for replacement. That
I
why I need a new multi-cast imaging software and need to know all I can
about XP. I have been using imagecast but my version won't work with XP.
