Since this will be the big topic for Fall 2002, I was curious, how many
universities are moving to XP for the Fall? Is it a university wide move?
How is the issue of the OS's need for more resources being handled? What do
you think about the security levels inherent in XP? Too much, not enough?
You may start to notice my topics changing a bit since I have actually left
the position of ResNet Manager at Northeastern. I am still with
Northeastern but I know manage ths labs, technology enabled classrooms,
distance learning, and desktops for the NU's College of Business
Administration. I hope to continue to participate but perhaps in a bit of a
different light.
