Had a quick read of the Dutch article that was refered to (see
http://www.webwereld.nl/)

The judge has ordered Kazaa to stop infringing on the copyrights of
musicians. He gave them two weeks to arrange this. As the lawyer of
Kazaa rightfully mentions they are not the ones doing the infringing,
but the users are doing that. They will therefore probably appeal this
decision.

The judge also decided that the Buma/Stemra, the Dutch organisation that
represents the rights of musicians, has to start talks with Kazaa within
two days to discuss an agreement on legal music sharing.

The only thing Kazaa will probably do if they don't get the agreement
within two weeks is to stop distributing its software, since Kazaa
doesn't have central servers, there is no way they can be shut down.

So for the bandwith policemen out there, it is not yet time to dance on
the grave of another file sharing company.

Oh yeah, the famous The Register humor :-)

Greetings,

Rudolf
