Fordham IT is currently doing research on technology fees at other
institutions.
I know this may be more of a bursar question but if anyone is aware of what
their institution does it would be of great help to know the following:
If you have a fee at all?
How much is it and how is is broken down?
Is it separate from tuition?
Is there a special resident IT charge?
What it does it cover (laptop, labs, IT support services, etc.)?
Are the lab fees charged by class registration specifically?
In case anyone else is interested, we charge our fee as a separate line
item at $125 per student that includes labs and free IT support. We do not
have a laptop program. We also do not have an additional IT charge for
resident student IT services except cable services which is not part of
Fordham IT or by the class.
