We used to have problems with the original gen Xbox and LAN games...it didn=
't like hopping VLANS. Since everything is over Xbox Live now, that's gone =
away.

Subject: Xbox Live Internally Hosted Game Connection Issues
Anyone else run into this:
When an Xbox Live game is hosted by an on-campus user other on-campus users=
are unable to participate in the game. Users from off-campus can particip=
ate but not on-campus users. If the game is hosted by an off-campus user t=
hen both type of user (off-campus and on-campus) can participate. Student =
IP's are NAT'd and behind our firewall. Is this behavior just a function o=
f the requirements for a host computer which are not compatible with an ent=
erprise-grade NAT'd/Firewalled connection?
