Aloha ResNet folks!
Are any of you guys using Cisco's ISE as a NAC solution? If so, how well does it work with non-Windows platforms? Is it fairly easy to set up multiple, unique captive portals to deal with the variety of issues (viruses, DMCA complaints, etc) that we tend to deal with on ResNet? Lastly, was it fairly easily to implement - both on the network, and in training your staff, and particularly Help Desk staff, to use it?
Our campus wireless folks are leaning towards using this, and having ResNet use it as well. We've been leaning more towards Impulse Point, mostly because of the issues we discovered when exploring Cisco's Clean Access. We are a Cisco campus, and we're open to ISE, but want to make sure it meets our ResNet specific needs.
Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Please feel free to direct them to crose@ucs.edu and scottw@ucsd.edu.
Thanks!
Chuck Rose
