Hello ResNetters!
It has been almost a month since we met in beautiful Claremont, CA at the S=
tudent Technology Conference. As was mentioned at the Town Hall meeting the=
re (along with at previous Town Hall meetings at previous conferences), the=
Board is looking to formalize a membership structure for ResNet, Inc. The =
Board sees this as a way to generate new valuable services for members of t=
he ResNet community, not to reduce the offerings already in place. While we=
have brainstormed ideas for what this entails, we want input from you.
We are looking to create a Membership Committee chaired by the Director of =
Member and Volunteer Relations, which will include 3 other Board members al=
ong with 3-5 members of the ResNet community =96 that's you! If you would l=
ike to assist us in this process, please let me know. The formal time commi=
tment should be no more than 1 or 2 conference calls per month each lasting=
no more than 1-1.5 hours in length.
