The topic of E911 service behind a PBX is under consideration by the FCC.
You can read the docket and submit your comments -- deadline is July 5.
While there have not been Federal regulations, it looks like that might
change. All this appears to be work to implement a new law passed in
February. And they said Congress hasn't done anything . . .
