To be read in the voice of Billy Mays:
Time is running out. Get your registration for STC in NOW or you may miss out
on the chance of a lifetime. STC will clean your clothes without water, without
mess. . . wait, sorry. . . that's the wrong product.
Anyway - there are only a few days left for STC 2012 registration!
Also - if you are coming to the STC, and you want to do a Free-Day Activity,
please sign up! We need a count so we can have the right sized bus, make the
proper reservations, etc. So - if you are interested, please sign up for:
1. Getty Museum trip - this is in danger of getting canceled! Only 3 or 4 people
have signed up!
2. Beach trip - to Balboa/Seal Beach. This is a very nice little community and
beautiful beach area. Sign up! We're taking a bus so we need a good count!
3. Brewery tour - heading to four great breweries to sample excellent and
varied beers. We're taking a bus and getting a couple of tours of the breweries
so we do need a count. Honestly, only 17 people have signed up. . . seriously?
4. Hiking the Icehouse Saddle trail. This one isn't as critical for counts because
it's just up the hill, but we would like to know how many. . .
If you've already registered - please go back into your registration (same link
as registration) and add your free-day activity.
The question has been asked a couple of times as to whether we're going to
Disneyland... and the answer is YES - on Friday. We're not organizing a trip to
Disneyland for Thursday afternoon because we're going on Friday.
Does this mean you can't go? Duh - no. You can rent a car (we have ZIP cars
on campus) and go on your own. I already know of a carpool going. Sweet!
We'll have directions for you or you can just use Google or whatever.

Now - Please send your emails to your
friends/acquaintances/enemies/family/whatever at other colleges. Get them to
come along!
Interesting fact - 32% of registrants are NEW! This is AWESOME.
however, it begs the question. . . since only 68% are returning, and our
numbers are low (they are. . .) why are YOU not coming? (assuming you're not
coming - if you are coming, ignore the question)
Get those registrations in!
