While it may be a bigger project than you're looking for, Outlook 2010 has =
built-in features that allow you to connect even while off-site. There is n=
o VPN required, but instead communicates via HTTPS. I use it on my laptop (=
which I keep at my house), and almost never use webmail anymore. It is slig=
htly slower starting up, but once it loads your inbox you're good to go. I =
believe your Exchange server needs to be current (2007 might work--we use 2=
010), so as I said, not exactly plug-and-play if you're dealing with older =
systems.

Is anyone using Outlook Anywhere? Do you know of security concerns that ha=
ve kept you from implementing? We are locking down VPN access and one of t=
he main complaints
is the functionality, or lack thereof, of webmail.
Thanks for your time!
