After an RFP process, we ended up going with Cisco (we already have their network gear, so I guess it made sense). The system is pretty nice. With Exchange, we are able to get our voicemail in our email and once it has been marked as read in outlook, the voicemail light on the phones turns off. The phones also come with a minimal web browser and xml API allowing custom apps to be developed. We have our campus directory and calendar pushed to the phones. We are working on deploying a whole UCS service where you can get software on your computer that will let you use it as a phone (if you've got a microphone), a video phone (if you've got a camera), and do IM as well. Since it is integrated with the phone and Exchange, it can tell you if someone is "away" because they are on the phone or in a meeting (as long as it is scheduled in exchange).
