Look at the APPLE Volume Purchase plan... you simply issue a PO to apple for any dollar amount you wish... name a site administrator and that person goes in an "buys" a REDEMPTION code... that code is given to the iPad user and the software is downloaded to their iPad. Check with your apple rep. NOTE: if you can determine if you need 20 or more of an app you get them for 1/2 price, but it they have to be purchased at the same time.

We are about to start deploying iPads to different users on campus. Most of these iPads have at least one and some several apps that are being purchased via the iTunes store for individual iPads.
Just as all software purchases come thru IT on campus , we want all iTunes app purchases to route thru IT.
For those of you who have implemented the use of iPads on campus, how do you control the accounts on the iPads and the purchase and installation of apps on iPads?
