Hello all!
I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and had a happy new year!
We are still in need of a few more volunteers for the Conference Selection =
Committee. This committee will help us select the site for the 2014 Student=
Technology Conference. We are looking for 3-5 volunteers to serve on this =
committee. We prefer that at least one member of the committee be a past ho=
st. While this is currently satisfied by our Director of Conference Managem=
ent, who, along with the Treasurer, will be representing the Board of Direc=
tors on this committee, we are not opposed to having other past hosts serve=
on this committee. The only requirement we have to serve on this committee=
is that you should have attended at least one ResNet Symposium or Student =
Technology Conference in the past 5 years.
If you are considering submitting a bid for a future Student Technology Con=
ference, this would be a great way to familiarize yourself with the bid pro=
cess. If you are considering submitting a bid for the 2014 conference, you =
will not be eligible to serve on this year's committee.
If you are interested in volunteering for this committee, please let me kno=
w and also include which conference(s) you have attended.
