Hello all!
As we prepare for the start of the bid process for the 2014 Student Technol=
ogy Conference, we are seeking volunteers to help us select the site on the=
Conference Selection Committee. We are looking for 3-5 volunteers to serve=
on this committee. We prefer that at least one member of the committee be =
a past host. This is currently satisfied by our Director of Conference Mana=
gement, who, along with the Treasurer, will be representing the Board of Di=
rectors on this committee. We are not opposed to having other past hosts se=
rve on this committee. The only requirement we have to serve on this commit=
tee is that you should have attended at least one ResNet Symposium or Stude=
nt Technology Conference in the past 5 years.
If you are considering submitting a bid for a future Student Technology Con=
ference, this would be a great way to familiarize yourself with the bid pro=
cess. If you are considering submitting a bid for the 2014 conference, you =
will not be eligible to serve on this year's committee.
If you are interested in volunteering for this committee, please let me kno=
w and also include which conference(s) you have attended.
