Todd,
Have you seen this? It consists of little probes and server monitoring software.

Subject: Video performance/monitoring
I'm sure we're not alone in this, but I thought I would ask for
ideas or suggestions. An issue we've struggled with is monitoring video
performance on our network. While we can graph out our bandwidth, number
of users, and even latency, being able to quantify the quality of a
streaming video on our network has been very elusive. I'm not sure what
products (if any) may be out there to either help monitor/report on this
and/or help with video bandwidth consumption (our other big pain point),
but I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks,
