Boston Linux Seminar

I would like to invite Linux & non Linux users to attend a seminar
on Linux operating system at Boston Computer Society (BCS) MegaMeeting.
Beside BCS, the Linux Journal and Boston Linux User Group are sponsoring
this seminar. The MegaMeeting will be held on April 9-10 (Saturday and
Sunday) at University of Massachusetts Boston Harbor Campus. It is
expected over 10,000 people attend the meeting. The Linux seminar
will be on Saturday April 9 from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m. and 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.
at UMass/Boston Harbor Campus, McCormack Building in room 1-208 (First
Floor).

The BCS MegaMeeting includes 150 seminars on different topics,
140 exhibitor booths of software and hardware products, CompuFest,
hourly door prizes, and those people paying for admission ($7.00) to
MegaMeeting will get free one-year subscription to one computer
magazine.

The Linux seminar will be an open discussion forum, where people
learn about Linux from each other. However, I believed Linux
seminar should be useful to Linux users as well as non-users, I am
specially interested to introduce Linux to the people who have little
or no experience on Linux. Therefore, I am presenting a series of
slides for introduction to Linux system. Then Bob Young publisher of
Linux Journal will be speak at the seminar. I am also expecting some
other Linux experts attend and speak at the seminar.

Linux Journal is going to have a nice booth at the MegaMeeting
in the Clark Center ( Exhibit Hall booth # 224, previously assigned
to CompuServ, near the Digital booth). The Poineer Neighborhood
(New England Community Internet) has also a booth at which Linux
will be on exhibit (Booth # 111).

Looking forward to see you all at the Linux Seminar

Thanks, Alireza
