This is the guide we made to connect Anroid to our Eduroam (WPA-2 Enterpris=
e) this summer:

Our XPressConnect version which IST provides also connects Android phones t=
o the network if they are on the unsecured network. Randall states they can=
route it through their guest network & that's what we do as well (through =
uw-unsecured). If they have an authentication based non secured SSID then t=
hey should probably route through that but routing through guest is fine as=
well since XPressConnect will force authentication before migrating to the=
802.1x network.

Have any of you come up with the perfect solution for configuring Android d=
evices on your 802.1x wireless network?
We do use XPressConnect on a non-route-able private network, but the Androi=
d seems to need access to the 'Market'.
Our hosting server could be made route-able. I am thinking we direct users =
through our guest network.... (but before I do that ...)
