If you are having problems with Windows 7 and Outlook 2010 searching, you m=
ight want to check if the Indexing Service on the computer is enabled. The=
re is a known bug that installing Office 2010 will occasionally disable the=
Indexing Service.

Windows 7 include desktop search, which automatically indexs Outlook 2010 =
(Writing emails on a Windows 7 machine with Outlook 2010 right now.)
Are you saying you want to use something OTHER than windows 7 intergrated s=
earch? Like Google Desktop? http://desktop.google.com/
