Can you post the XP script? That'll give us an idea of what might be needed for Windows 7.

I think the challenge is that we don't know what changes the client makes on installation. We use the standard installation of the Novell Client, downloaded directly from the Novell website, so I'm just talking about changes that the client installation makes during a standard installation, not any custom changes we've made.
Our constultants provided us with a script that reverts the changes, but only for XP; they did not provide one for Windows 7, and they haven't been forthcoming with information that would be helpful for us as we try to figure out how to make equivalent changes for 7.
Has anyone recently completed a Novell to AD migration that included Windows 7 computers? If you'd be willing to share your procedure for migrating the Win7 workstations to AD, that might help us figure out what we need to do.

How to restore may also depend upon what changes you have made. You could create your own default template from a non-secured machine and import that, or create a custom template that is the opposite of just the settings you configured.

It sounds like you've used Zenworks to set policies on the workstations?
I think it would be easiest to use Zen to undo your specific policies before the migration, rather than attempt to have AD/GPO undo what Novell has done,,,
