For stuff that's not business related, I have no problem doing one of two
things:
1. if it's someone I don't like or don't really want their emails, I'll do
one of the things mentioned above. I tell them that it's work email and I
can't afford to have some of the things they send in there. . . never been a
problem.
2. if it's someone I like or family (not necessarily the same things! LOL)
or whatever, I point them toward my personal email and let them know that I
MUST have a separation between personal and work emails. . . I've had some
flub up and send to the wrong place, but I've never had any protests about it.
