We didn't move from Cisco to SafeConnect but did evaluate Cisco, Bradford a=
nd Impulse (SafeConnect) and went with SafeConnect.
* SafeConnect was the best price
* Didn't require major network configuration changes
* Installation is elegant and was configured in a few hours
* Gives good statistics
We are also using Cloudpath XpressConnect for configuring 802.1X supplicant=
. Cloudpath is a partner with Impulse and will install the policy key.
We have now been running SafeConnect for a year and started out with enforc=
ing OS updates, running anti-spyware and running anti-virus with most curre=
nt signatures. Recently we added checking for current Flash and Java updat=
es.
There have been a few issue to work through (there always are) but the comp=
any has been responsive.
