We understand that but when you do not have a choice, you have to work
with what you have. We are not too concerned with triangulation either.

Also if you put your APs in a line down a hallway you lose the ability
to triangulate to do location tracking. Never a good idea to put APs in
a line.

We are adding wireless to our dorm space and I would like to
know how other schools are running their wireless infrastructure in the
dorms. Our dorms are the typical cinder block rooms stacked ontop of
each other. We are a cisco shop and will be using the WISM and
lightweight aps.

Are you running your system manually or is the controller doing
a good job?

How dense is your ap deployment and what is the location of the
ap (in the rooms or in the hallways)?

What feedback do you get from the users (good or bad)?

	=20

	Thanks.
