Hi Lelio,

I have always used Apache (http://httpd.apache.org/) to do my reverse proxy
work. It is simple to understand and setup, and Apache can handle all of
your authentication/authorization needs. Squid is another popular proxy
solution: http://www.squid-cache.org/, though I have never used it in
production. I have never used a vendor supported solution, so don't have any
insight there.

Let me know if you have any questions.

thanks,
speeves
