Hello,
How are other institutions dealing with accountability (ex. DMCA violation
or hacking, etc.) for IPv6 address space given the following?
- Mac OS does not natively support DHCPv6
- Windows uses privacy extensions (RFC 4941) by default to randomize the
address (and re-randomize after a given amount of time)
- We do not want to have to touch everyone's computer to install a DHCPv6
client or disable privacy extensions
Standard EUI-64 addresses can easily be reverted to obtain the computer's
MAC address.
