We've been chewing on this issue too, wondering if we should go with
Nexus for a 10G backbone solution or upgrade the 6500s. So far I haven't
learned enough about Nexus to be sold on it yet.

Subject: Cisco Nexus(7000) vs Juniper 8200

Question to all networking boys & girls;

We would like to replace our core router which is a 6513 with SUP720.

Choices are

a)      Cisco Nexus 7000

b)      Juniper 8200

Questions are;

1) How many school using Juniper as their Core router?

2) How many, if any have moved from Cisco to Juniper?

Thank you

Have a good holiday everyone.
