Several people wanted the phone number for Focus, so here it is:
1-800-538-8866.
Their 8-port UTP repeater has 8 UTP ports and one thinnet port, and
lots of neat lights (one "link" light to show a good connection for
each of the 8 ports and one "receive" light to show which computer is
receiving stuff). It's unmanaged, but that doesn't really matter for
us. This one cost $189 by saying we're with MIT, and it arrived about
3 days later. And, when you send back the warrenty card, they give
you something free (like this neat Focus mousepad I've got now).
