I got my TNVT220 to emulate vt100 almost perfectly. When the computer
telnets, it checks the "VT*** ID" variable under the General group in
the Setup Directory. This is what your computer tells the remote host
what type of terminal emulation it is using. So, since the default is
VT220 ID, the dialup server thinks your computer is emulating vt220.
So typing in "term vt100" at the % prompt and changing to vt100_mode
emulation should do the trick, for most of us anyway.

Alternatively, you can set "VT100 ID" and vt100_mode, and your computer
will always run vt100.
